J D's Story
What I've done who I are. Left Layton in 1973.Did a short stint in the army. Came home in the summer of 1976, Went to prison in November of that year. Escaped several times. Was shot n=in the head in Roy, Utah 7 May 1981. Returned to prison. Was transferred as un-controllable into the federal prison system. Accomplishments? 395 college credits with a 3.65GPA. Finally released from Utah state prison on conditional or parole 14 October 2008.
There are people in Layton to whom I need to make amends. To at the very least apologize. I thought this sight may be the way to locate them.Having been shot 5 times stabbed 15 times and having had my throat cut twice. I am an artist, a poet, a sometimes blog writer. I paint, carve, design and create jewelry,draw and tattoo.Probably no one else in the class has a more varied or unique story.

The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Robin Grondel/Beck, because I owe her an apology.
My only real obsession is my artwork. Somttimes my writing runs a close second. But things I create on paper in wood with metal and stone, the tattoos I colmpete hold the lions share of my energy.
If I won $100 million, I'd give 90% of it to Narcotics Anonymous, then spend the rest on house, home and family.
I dress for comfort. Then I always did...
